When using the new “Converted” mode in the Unite Assembly Activity, it is important that you setup the Solid Edge “Save As” – options as shown below. Omitting this, will probably cause Unite Assembly to generate incorrect results.
Unite Assembly supports the Parasolid and Jt formats. Jt is slightly slower than Parasolid, but it provides the option of saving file Properties to the converted file.

We are please to announce that Edge Publisher V7.5 has been released. This version contains many fixes as welll as changes and new functionality. Particularly the unique “Unite Assembly” plugin has undergone major changes.

The Unite Assembly Activity unites all parts in an assembly into a part file containing a single solid body, handling the non-manifold body limitations in Parasolid. This is used for communicating assemblies to customers where you need to protect legacy data.
